Ingredients: (1 serving – 2 nos)
Bottle gourd/Lauki: 100 gm.
Cheese Slices: 2 (20 gms each)
Ginger: 1 inch, grated (optional)
Salt to taste
Red chili powder and black pepper to taste or oregano
Fresh Coriander leaves: A few
Ghee: 1 tsp
Method:
Grate bottle gourd and keep it aside for 10min, now squeeze the excess water out and put it in the mixing bowl.
Add all of the above ingredients except ghee and mix well.
Heat the pan and drizzle some ghee on it. Make two patties & put them on the hot pan. Flame should be low to moderate initially then low only. Initially it will splutter a lil from sides but as soon as the cheese starts hardening it will be okay. Be patient as it will take more time than any other pan cake or cutlet
Note: Cheese cooks faster than lauki so make sure the flame is low while cooking.
