Ingredients

1. Boiled Raw Bananas: 2 (medium-sized)

2. Grated Beetroot: ½ cup (squeezed to remove excess water)

3. Green Chillies: 2 (finely chopped)

4. Groundnut: 1/4 cup

5. Grated Ginger: 1 tsp

6. Rock Salt: according to taste

8. Chaat Masala: 1 tsp

9. Red Chilli Powder: 1 tsp

10. Coriander Leaves for Garnishing

11. Grated Beetroot for Garnishing (Optional)

Method:

1. Dry roast groundnuts and grind them into fine powder.

2. Mash boiled raw bananas and put in a mixing bowl along with beetroot, green chillies, groundnut powder, grated ginger, salt. Mix well & Shape them into Tikkis

3. Shallow fry with ghee in a pan

4 Eat with coconut chutney or eat with dahi as dahivadas.

5. Garnish with grated beetroot and serve.

Method:

3. To make in an air-fryer: Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes at 200ºC. Air Fry the balls/vadas for 15-20 minutes at 200ºC.

4. To make in an OTG: Preheat the oven at 180°C for 5 minutes. Bake the balls/vadas at 180ºC degrees for 20-25 minutes.

5. Whisk peanut curd and add jaggery powder & salt.

6. Dip the vadas in curd, arrange on a platter & top up with chutneys, chaat masala, red chilli powder & coriander leaves.

7. Garnish with grated beetroot and serve.
