- Onion (Chopped) – 1 small
- Garlic Cloves (finely chopped) – 4-5
- Sliced mushrooms – 1 cup
- Grated Ginger – 1 tbsp
- Chopped carrot – 1 med
- Capsicum – 1 med
- Boiled chickpeas – 2 tbsp
- Cumin – 1/2 tsp
- Black pepper – to taste
- Soy Sauce – 1 tsp
- Vinegar – to taste
- Salt to taste
- 2 cups (470 ml) broth or water
- 1.5 cups (375 ml) or more water
- cornstarch to thicken in the end if needed

Heat oil & add onions, garlic and ginger.

Now add mushrooms and cook for 3 minutes until they get golden.

Now add carrot & capsicum & cook for 2-3 minutes

Time to chickpeas and spices and cook for 2 minutes.

Lastly add soy sauce, vinegar, and water. Bring to boil & cook for sometime
- Add Salt & mix well

To thicken, mix 1 tsp cornstarch in 1 tbsp water. Bring to a boil.
