What happens when all healthy ingredients go into a single recipe ….it becomes heavenly and obviously healthy. It’s so easy to bake these cookies with the single dough….just double the quantity to get more.
Serving size: 12 cookies
Common Ingredients:
1. Rolled Oats : 2/3 cup or 60 gms
2. Multi-grain flour/whole wheat flour – 2/3 cups or 100 gms
3. Clarified butter/butter – 1/2 cup
4. Jaggery Powder/powdered sugar 1/4 cup
Almond flavour: Dough 1
6. Just add 2 tbsp almond flour/almond powder
Chocolate walnuts flavour: Dough 2
7. 2 tbsp powdered walnut
8. 1 tbsp finely chopped walnuts
9. 1 tsp cocoa powder
Coconut-Cashew-Pista flavour: Dough 3
10. 2 tbsp powdered dessicated coconut
11. 1 tbsp finely chopped cashews & pistachios
12. 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
Method:
1. Sift Flour, Baking powder & baking soda in a bowl
2. Add oats & other ingredients
3. In another bowl take butter & jaggery powder and mix well.(creaming)
4. Mix dry n wet ingredients into a soft dough. Don’t Knead.
5. Refrigerate the dough for 15 -20 minutes.
6. Take it out & shape into cookies
7. Bake in a preheated oven for 25-30 minutes at 170°C
