You can’t find anything more refreshing than this Dried fennel or saunf is a storehouse of vital nutrients, low on calories and abundant in vitamin C fennel seeds bolsters the immune system, works as a potent antioxidant. They are Rich in manganese, trigger metabolism, regulate blood sugar and strengthen the bones. Since it detoxifies the gut, its good for weight loss.
Ingredients:
1. Fennel Seeds (Small) – 1 tbsp
2. Water – 2 cups (500 ml)
3. Fresh Lemon Juice – 2 lemons
4. Mint Leaves – ½ cup
5. Jaggery Powder – According to taste
6. Salt – According to taste.
Recipe:
1. Boil water & switch off the flame
2. Infuse fennel seeds in water by adding Fennel seeds & keep it covered for ½ an hour. (Boiling fennel seeds with water will destroy its nutrients)
3. Infuse mint leaves in fresh lemon juice, by crushing the mint leaves & lemon juice together.
4. Pour the Fennel Infused water in the glass tumblers when it cools down.
5. Add Mint Lemon mixture, add ice, salt, jaggery powder.
6. Garnish with mint leaves & sliced lemon before serving.
