Chickpeas are a good source of proteins as well as dry in nature & good for Kapha Types. It is also used to treat diabetes & urinary tract.
Ingredients:
- Boiled Garbanzo Beans (Chickpeas) – 1/4 cup
- Chopped Vegetable (Cauliflower, Bottle Guard, broccoli, carrots, green peas, beans, onion, capsicum et)
- Chopped Green Chilly – 1
- Ginger Garlic paste – 1 tsp
- Lemon Juice = 1 tsp
- Sesame Oil – 1/4 tsp
- Cumin Seeds – 1/4 tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Black Pepper Powder – 1/4 tsp
- Coriander Leaves (chopped)
- Diced Cucumber – 1/4 cup
Method:
- In a saucepan, take oil & add cumin seeds, add green chilly & gg paste.
- Add all chopped vegetables & cook them covered until they become semi -tender
- Add boiled chickpeas, Salt & cook until everything is well incorporated.
- Switch off the flame & finally add lemon juice, black pepper powder & garnish with coriander leaves.
- Top it up with cucumber & Mint chutney (optional)
