Chickpeas are a good source of proteins as well as dry in nature & good for Kapha Types. It is also used to treat diabetes & urinary tract.

Ingredients:

  1. Boiled Garbanzo Beans (Chickpeas) – 1/4 cup
  2. Chopped Vegetable (Cauliflower, Bottle Guard, broccoli, carrots, green peas, beans, onion, capsicum et)
  3. Chopped Green Chilly – 1
  4. Ginger Garlic paste – 1 tsp
  5. Lemon Juice = 1 tsp
  6. Sesame Oil  – 1/4 tsp
  7. Cumin Seeds – 1/4 tsp
  8. Salt – to taste
  9. Black Pepper Powder – 1/4 tsp
  10. Coriander Leaves (chopped)
  11. Diced Cucumber – 1/4 cup

Method: 

  • In a saucepan, take oil & add cumin seeds, add green chilly & gg paste.
  • Add all chopped vegetables & cook them covered until they become semi -tender
  • Add boiled chickpeas, Salt & cook until everything is well incorporated.
  • Switch off the flame & finally add lemon juice, black pepper powder & garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Top it up with cucumber & Mint chutney (optional)
