INGREDIENTS:

  1.  Mixed vegetables (carrots, green beans, cauliflower, broccoli, green peas, onion, garlic etc) – 1 cup
  2.  Water  – 2 cups
  3.  Cumin seeds – 1/4 tsp
  4.  Whole pepper corns – 2
  5.  Cinnamon stick – 1/4 inch piece
  6.  Cloves – 2
  7.  Cardamom pots – 2
  8.  Cow Ghee – 1/2 tbsp
  9.  Salt – as less as possible
  10.   Top up with few coriander Leaves

METHOD:

• Peel, Wash and cut the vegetables into small bite-sized pieces.
• Put the vegetables and water in a sauce pan or skillet. Cover and cook on medium heat until just tender.
•  Dry Roast & grind the cumin seeds, peppercorns, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods and cloves to a fine powder. (Make a large batch & store in an airtight container)
• Add these spices in the soup & mix well.
• Boil for 2-5 minutes.
• Stir salt and serve hot (don’t strain)
