Ingredients

  1. Yellow moong dal- 1/4 Cup (Cooked)
  2. Ragi Flour- 1/4 Cup
  3. Chopped Onion – 1 small
  4. Green Chilli – 1 tsp
  5. Garam masala- 1/4 tsp
  6. Ginger Garlic Paste- 1/2 tsp
  7. Turmeric Powder-1/4 tsp
  8. Coriander- 1 Teaspoon (Chopped)
  9. Salt To Taste
  10. Desi Ghee (Cow) – 1/2 tsp (For Greasing)

Method:

  • For Cooking moong dal, take 1 cup of water and salt in a pan and cover and cook on a slow flame for 7 to 8 minutes, while stirring occasionally or cook in pressure cooker for 1 whistle.
  • Remove from the flame and drain the excess water.
  • Transfer the cooked moong dal on a plate and cool completely
  • Add all the remaining ingredients and mix very well
  • Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into a flat round tikki
  • Roast the tikkis with ghee on a tawa or pan.
  • Serve immediately with mint and coriander chutney
