RDA for Protein for a healthy Indian Adult is 0.8 to 1.00 gm per kg of body weight.

Ingredients: Serving Size 2

  • 1/4 cup soyabeans, soaked in warm water for 2-3 hours or overnight
  • 1/4 green chillies, finely chopped
  • a big piece of ginger (adrak), grated
  • garam masala powder
  • 2 tbsp Roasted besan
  • a handful of mixed coriander (dhania) leaves and mint leaves (phudina)
  • salt to taste
  • ghee or oil

Recipe:

  1. Drain out the water completely from soya beans.
  2. Boil soya beans for 4-5 whistles & grind.
  3. Add roasted besan & Mix all the ingredients & well and shape into round cutlets.
  4. Brush with oil & roast on iron tava
  5. Serve hot with green chutney.
